SMPS Connecticut is swinging into the first event of the 2015-2016 season! Join us as a golf professional shares the do's and don'ts on attire, etiquette and on-the-course action - including a how-to lesson on perfecting your golf swing. We will also learn the importance of these networking opportunities as they relate to our industry and how to maximize networking on the course.
1. Learn about appropriate golf attire, course etiquette and tips on the course.
2. Mini-lesson to get you started and comfortable on the course.
3. How to maximize networking on the golf course and why it's important.
Time: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Registration/Networking: 3:00 - 3:30 pm
Program: 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Networking: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Brooks Garber, Assistant Golf Professional, Country Club of Farmington
Born and raised in New England, Brooks graduated from the University of Connecticut before moving to Florida. While there, Brooks developed his love of golf, working a wide range of jobs from bag boy up to Assistant Professional. Now back in CT, Brooks is the Assistant Golf Pro at the Country Club of Farmington. Brooks has played golf professionally for over 5 years and is currently completing his PGA Certification. Upon earning PGA Certification, Brooks can work as a Head Pro and plans to follow his life-long dream of running his own Golf Club.
Bob Margolis, Director of Business Development, STV|DPM
Bob Margolis is a veteran of the A/E/C industry with over thirty years of experience. Bob's entire career has been focused on networking to build his sphere of influence. Before Bob's career at STV|DPM, he worked at Fathom in business development and was the owner/president of Crest Graphics, a family business started by Bob's father.
