Join SMPS Connecticut and Graceworks for a fun, interactive workshop focusing on strengthening your presentation and communication skills.
Through teaching, discussion, theater exercises and coaching, you’ll learn to engage and energize your listeners. This workshop will help you identify and drop nervous habits, your sole task as a presenter, the power of body language, how to use visuals wisely, and breathe life into your presentations!
Through teaching/discussion, theater games and exercises you will learn to:
- Connect with your audience;
- Identify and drop nervous habits;
- Simplify and strengthen your message;
- Make technical material interesting;
- Experience freedom and self-confidence as a presenter; and
- Prepare and practice your material.

About the Speaker:
Rich Swingle, Freedom Finder, Graceworks
Rich Swingle, Freedom Finder, has a tremendous gift as a trainer and coach. He’s motivated by a deep desire and commitment to help people get comfortable in their own skins, whether giving a speech, leading a team or just talking with friends and family. Rich taps into each person’s particular needs and is able to come up with just the right technique to help them find their freedom.
Working with Graceworks over 13 years, Rich draws upon his experience as a professional actor. Some of his clients include a national retail chain, HOK, Skanska, HAKS Engineers, Gensler and Skender Construction – just to name a few. Also, ask him about his amazing journeys traveling the world performing his own one-man plays.
